I wont even bother with proper grammar or a proper review, because this movie simply doesn't need one. It is a B-Grade of a B-Graded film, and I will explain why. The camera work first of all, blew my mind away in the sense that almost everyone can feel apart of it and relate so well to the camera work purely because it looked like it was shot out of an iPhone. The special effects? Windows Movie Maker. The dialogue? I'm going to assume the writer ate some Alpha-bits cereal and Shat out the script. I can't write anymore because anymore words for this movie is being generous.<br/><br/>However, sitting through this movie does pose as a good challenge to those who dare try. Oh, and it also gives you a few good laughs at the movie, particularly in the scene where some guy comes to save a girl with a little sword and then also when the guy and girl (didn't listen to their names) are climbing a wall to escape the zombies and the camera shot from the top down make you realize "holy crap, how did they climb so damn high, so damn fast?" To be honest, I skipped through it all, so if you manage to like this movie and disagree with this review, good for you.
An Oscar should be given ... to whoever can sit through this movie.<br/><br/>Seriously, some of the worst acting I have ever seen. I do not know how this movie could have been worse, the sound and scene editing was off and the story was 1) not backed up, 2) ruined by the distractingly bad acting, and 3) made worse by the thought of attempting to make you care about the actors.<br/><br/>I've seen over 1300 movies, this one makes me wish I was blind. Do not even attempt to give it a chance.<br/><br/>I'll put it plainly, if you were going to make a drinking game out of the amount of "OMG this is horrible" moments ... you would be wasted at the 20 minute mark.
No one expects perfect coherence - or competent acting - from a low-budget horror picture, but this convoluted mess sets new lows in underimagined, overplotted narrative - not to mention grade-Z thesping and dimly portentous dialogue.
